Adam Salasek

Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Adam had an early passion for film. He took every class his high school would offer, and eventually decided to make it his career. Adam studied film at Columbia College Chicago where he received a bachelors of Arts degree in film/video with a concentration in Directing. By the end of college, Adam had directed 2 short films, Hermit, and Flat Tire, which will be sent to festivals across the country.
 
Since college, Adam has been working extensively as an editor. He is Apple Certified in Final Cut Pro, and has a strong grasp on many of the other professional-grade editing programs as well. Adam currently works at Tribeca Flashpoint Academy and teaches “Introduction to Final Cut Pro” at Chicago Filmmakers. He is always looking to take on additional projects on a freelance basis and will gladly speak with anybody about potential projects.
